Today's Soapbox: GH

So I guess the thought never occurred to Sam that she should maybe stay with the man she loves and try to have a baby with him instead of trying to nab someone else's baby (hello, is this Pine Valley or Llanview? NO!). Could be the first clue that she isn't ready to be a mom yet...

Sad that Sonny and Carly are now officially over. Bittersweet, really, because I honestly like them so much better living separate lives.

I really hope Courtney stays with Jax. I love them together. It's a so-much-healthier relationship. I do NOT want her back with Jason. Jax and Courtney can be like the Frisco and Felicia of the 2000s.

I love that Elizabeth figured it out without Emily having to say it. I knew she would. She's not stupid.

Today's Soapbox: OLTL

I loved that OLTL picked up exactly where AMC left off, but what is up with all those useless police officers? First, they leave Babe, Jamie, JR, Tad and the baby all alone and wait outside. Then, Kevin and Bo arrive and there is all the debating about where the baby should go and whose baby it is. Just do something, cops! How incompetent.

And, Jessica? How crazy is she? Yeah, Christian is still in love with her. Sure. She so clearly is being stalked by one of her alters, just like dear old Mom. I wish she would leave Christian (or whoever he is) alone.

Too funny when Margaret showed up in the Blair wig, though. And Todd didn't catch on at all, did he, Peggy?

Today's Soapbox: AMC

I'm glad Kendall isn't fooled by Jonathan. That dude is so creepy and has been since the start, basically. Why was everyone fooled? And what is up with Maggie, wanting to marry a man who is so freaky? Eww. I've never liked Maggie and this is just another example of how stupid she is.

Today's Soapbox: GH

As bad as it may sound, I really like the idea of Emily getting raped by Connor. She needs some badness brought into her life that isn't so easily brushed off (like the shooting of Mary and the apparent killing of Helena). Those other deaths seemed to not bother her at all. Even the death of Zander seemed not to phase her. Here, she is going to have to deal with the rape and the murder (I'm assuming he's dead after she shot him like six times) of Connor and I imagine she is going to end up pregnant so she has to deal with the fact that she may be carrying Connor's baby. Also, I'm thinking once Nikolas is released from prison, she is going to have a little difficulty getting intimate with him again - when he gets close, she is going to see Connor's face, isn't she? Also, it will give her a chance to get a lot closer to Elizabeth, who, we all remember, was raped way back. Lots of possibility there.

Today's Soapbox: AMC

Well, I might be in the minority, but I was glad that the cops and the Chandlers finally caught up with Babe & Jamie and the baby. They got away with stealing that baby for way too long.

Also, what's up with Edmund? When did he become so desperate to hang on to Maria?

Today's Soapbox: GH

Two in one show? Okay, there is NO way that they killed off Laura. She is not dead, no way. And Nikolas? No way again. He's not dying either. Why don't they kill off people we might believe it about? Who shot him anyway? Was it Mykel, the soap star winner? That would be funny and a surefire way to not be a soap star.

Today's Soapbox: AMC

Please tell me Bianca is not going to suffer some sort of amnesia from this fall off the balcony!! Judging by the preview for tomorrow, that is NOT going to happen but I swear if it does, I'm going to scream so loudly.

Today's Soapbox: OLTL

So, Christian has memory loss? How did he remember such a minute detail like his mother's phone number at the diner then as he headed back to Llanview? But he can't remember the artists who have influenced his art or that he likes pop tarts? By the way, where IS Carlotta? At least they addressed her not knowing about Christian, but with the news of him being alive splashed all over the front of the newspapers, if she is anywhere near town, I think she already knows. I'm not sure why you wouldn't just tell your loved ones that you can't remember every detail of your previous life - what's the biggie? Obviously, he still remembers the essentials. I'm hoping he can't remember Jen once he finally runs into her. Ha.

Also, Todd on the phone with Viki, bashing the Kramers? SO wrong but SO funny!

Today's Soapbox: OLTL

The scene with Rex and RJ as they stole the shovels was too funny.

Today's Soapbox: AMC

How great was this episode with just four performers the entire hour? I could have actually done without the Jamie/JR scenes and had more Babe/Bianca. They both did awesome with that and when Bianca finally realized that Babe was telling the truth - awesome.

Today's Soapbox: GH

Well, we all know Skye is going to be just fine. They ain't killing her off...

As far as Heather goes, is that the last of her? Well, we still don't know where Laura is, I guess... Anyway, how weird is it that they bring Steven back on around the same time that Heather comes back but the two only got about two scenes together? That is very odd. I thought they could have done more with that.

Gag me with the Nikolas-Emily honeymoon scenes. I do not need to see that. Especially now that I read that the twosome are a real-life couple.

Also, Lucky sure got over his crush of Emily fast, didn't he? He didn't seem the slightest bit upset to see her marry his brother. And, really, what is so fantastic about Emily that men just fall so in love with her immediately after meeting her (I'm talking about Connor, of course, but it was also true with Zander)? It's good that she had to wait so long to get her "only" love to marry her.

Today's Soapbox: OLTL

I'm not sure who I want Natalie with... Christian is definitely hotter but she might have better chemistry with John...

David really cracks me up no matter what stupid things he has to do. He's got to be the best comic relief on any of the soaps...

Who do you think really did kill Paul Kramer? The only person I can think of who would frame Dorian would be Tico, but I just don't know about him murdering Paul. It would be way too easy if it was him - just one more death added on to his crimes.

Today's Soapbox: AMC

How long are they going to drag out this baby storyline? Everyone's in Florida now...

Greenlee is being poisoned? Am I the only one who thinks it is totally obvious that Jonathan is the guilty party? He's got to be the one who tried to shoot Ryan and now he's drugging Greenlee. Jonathan is the shadiest character in town!!

Wednesday soapbox: GH

...they really pulled everyone out of the woodwork for Emily/Nikolas' wedding, didn't they? Felicia, Bobbie, Leslie, Lulu (how cute is that little girl...)

...I never pegged Emily for a huge hoop skirt kind of girl...

...since when did Tracy became a needlepointer? That seemed out of place.

...was it just me or did Nikolas seem to have on a LOT of makeup when he arrived at the church? I think he was wearing lipstick.

...and while I'm talking about men who don't look good - why doesn't Greg Vaughn cut his hair? Yuck. It's not becoming.

Wednesday soapbox: OLTL

...did a lot of fast-forwarding today through all of Margaret's scenes. Can't stand her and I don't want to know what she's up to...

...I wish Sonya wasn't leaving; I really liked her with Antonio and a real love triangle would have down him and Jessica good...

...good for Michael for picking up on big brother John's predicament (being in love with two women!) but bad for Michael for not proposing to Marcie!!

Wednesday soapbox: AMC

...dressing up baby "James" (aka Ace) as a girl is kind of ironic as I read somewhere that the baby who plays Bess (aka Miranda) is actually a boy!

...not a big fan of Ethan or Kendall (although I do like them as a couple) but I really liked the scene between Ethan and Erica today

...why if it isn't Mary Smythe showing up and showing some concern for her daughter!!

...how perfect that they were able to work in some shooting time while they were at DisneyWorld for Super Soap Weekend!! Clever

...I liked this line from Mary to Ethan, "Young man, you may be divinely tall, but you don't have all the answers." There are a lot of tall men in Pine Valley when you think about it (Ryan, Jack, Ethan...)
